How To: Set up A Camera and Tripod in the making
Timeline Screenshots
The screenshots above go through different areas of my project and I will explain all of them. The final one is the full timeline so that one is just to look at.
The first one is my timeline at the beginning of the project. You can see in the small video box that it shows my title card of the video. There is loads of layers already at this point of the video. That because there is already four overlays being used, these are: a old film grain overlay, two black boxes to make the boxed aspect ratio (4:3) and an adjustment layer which has noise added to add on to the vintage movie aesthetic and has a colour balance (HLS) with the saturation moved to -100 which creates the black and white colour.
The second slide consists of the a keyframe that I made for this video. These keyframes happen every two frames of video which would probably be around two milliseconds long. What I done was added a keyframe timestamp to the video and moved the position to the left and right every two frames. This once it is repeated over and over again creates a quick mild shake which back in the 30's would happen to text in the video. This can be seen in the full video which can be accessed below.
The third slide shows the timeline toward the end of video where things start to go 'weird'. As it can be seen in the video there is even more layers in the video. This is because there is loads of small details that need to be added to create the full effect. There are more overlays on this one, the first four are the ones that I mentioned in the first slide but the other ones consist of a extremely heavy shake preset which adds on to the crazy theme of the ending of this video.
The next one is a photo of the keyframes that make the extremely heavy shake. As you can see they cover every frame and move loads between each frame, that is what creates the heavy shake.
The final slide is the full timeline like I explained before but you can see all the overlays and audios that was used within the video. There was 6 audio sections that was used and at one point there was even 10 videos on screen at once!
Poster

This is my poster that I made for my project. I wanted to style it in the form of an old movie which is also the main theme of the how to video itself. There are a couple of examples to the right of other film from the time which look like this. This posters are mainly art and not photos like current film posters and look more 'vintage'. I wanted my poster to have this feeling to give more depth into the story that i'm trying to tell here. There is loads of elements that builds this poster and that is two pictures of me to show a character and there is the two layers of background colours which is also in this that is used in these movies. As you look at the other posters you can clearly picture them being old and from the time which is 1930's
